During Grandma's visit, we all thought it would be pretty fun to venture out to a local town...
Friends had recommended taking visitors to a little ice cream place in none other than, Hell. Since it is not too far, we began our journey with Grandma in tow, coming up with all kinds of puns and planning photo opportunities- who wouldn't want a picture of themselves in Hell?! Right?
There is even a littl' Devil Door, through which, if a child passes, they receive a free serving of ice cream. "Ha, ha," we thought- let's have our little nina pass through the littl' Devil door just for kicks and giggles, and then she can get her gross pink ice cream (cotton candy flavor- ugh!) for free.
Somehow, our sweet little girl, has become a monster. (I think it was the Devil door, or our excessive use of the word Hell within an hours time!)Both parents are now frazzled with this little one, especially when it comes to how to discipline a toddler with love (in this case, a very manipulative one). Your help is needed!
What is the best parenting and/or discipline book in your opinion? I've read a few, but could use more suggestions, since I don't feel like I've gotten the right guidance for this stage of life/parenting. Come one, come all, leave some books, and even short descriptions of it, or how it helped you!
