Wow, it's 2009 already?

Happy New Year!

We have enjoyed a few weeks of good family time while J has been off from school. Grandma S came to visit us for Christmas and we enjoyed a lot of fun together. We got a brand new digital SLR camera for Christmas and we went off the deep end taking pictures since we opened it. Here are a few (I mean several) highlights of the past few weeks from the new camera's point-of-view:

CHRISTMAS

SLEDDING ON CHRISTMAS DAY

THE HUNGRY CATERPILLAR QUILT MADE BY GRANDMA S

ABOUT READY TO POP

VISITING THE HENRY FORD
(notice C going through the protected, roped off area... Yes, the alarm did sound)

Sitting where Rosa Parks sat on the exact bench in her exact bus

Darth Vader's Costume

Oh, I wish I were an Oscar Mayer wiener

(In case you were wondering, C's shirt says, "If you think I'm cute, you should see my Daddy." How true is that...)

Looking at the pictures of Caitlin she definitely has her grandmothers smile.

That first one of Caitlin is awesome, and also I'm lovin' the belly pics! Good luck getting through the final preggo stretch. :) Miss you!

okay, this is so funny. I was just catching up on another blog right before yours and they got a hungry caterpillar quilt for Christmas too! And I love the pictures you've taken with your new camera - makes me want to learn how to use ours a little better.
