No, I didn't leave my newborn in the car while going to the doctor's office (as my very capable and wise mother has done), nor did do anything to inflict harm to anyone ..., but instead, while trying to be super productive and venture out to the local children's museum (with a newborn and toddler in tow), I managed to pay for the wrong parking meter, therefore incurring a debt to the parking police! Argh! Slightly frustrating- definitely not the worst thing in the world, and, I've even thought about smiling about the whole experience already, only a few hours into it. We'll see if the appeals guy has any sympathy for moms with their hands busy, and their minds turned off!
On a much lighter note, enjoy our cute 1 month old!
And we've got to always sneak in a cute one of the nina! This was post-licking the remaining last drops of her cookies and cream ice cream...mmm, mmm, mmm!

not to worry alexis. motherhood is all about the cra syndrome the can't remember anything syndrome and other unexpected happenings. when leah was a baby, i would lift her out of the car and klunk her head on the outer part of the car. i once drove off to take her to day care and forgot i had her formula on the roof of my car and had to go back home to make more formula. so relax, take a deep breath and everything will fall into place. cute pictures of the kids. the baby is so precious and looks just like you. take care. pearl
Oh...I wish for you that it gets better, the brain thing. I actually do know some moms who can think pretty clearly. I'm not one of them. All day today was just one after another preggo/mom brain mistakes...I feel I am the victim in this scenario. :)
Oh that cracks me up. And you were so vigilant about leaving on time yesterday to make sure that the meter didn't run out. Just wait a few more weeks and I know I'll have similar stories to share.
That stinks! Maybe you'll get someone sympathetic to your situation. I think my problem is that I sometimes just don't think at all. But we all get by! Cute one month old! Way to go on venturing out with two already!
Sorry to hear abou the ticket. That must be frusterating!!
Good luck with the parking ticket. And talk about cute kids. I hope you are doing well my friend!
About the parking ticket - don't worry about it - I managed to escape the clutches of the Provo and BYU parking police for six years only to move to downtown St. Louis and get 5 or 6 parking tickets due to the same combination of those cursed parking meters and wrestling two small children in and out of car seats in the cold weather. It happens; don't feel dumb!!
