We were recently looking back at some old pictures of C and realizing how quickly she's growing up. In fact, our first blog posts on this blog date back to our time in Santa Barbara, CA. C was a little younger than baby M is now. She has really grown up. She's now a full blown kid and it's pretty fun to watch her.
This is a recent photo before bed in her Cinderella night gown. Notice her longer hair...
She has been begging us for a hair cut, so here is A's finest work.
C has been taking a dance/tumbling class and just had her first "recital." Here is a picture from the stage of the big Saenger Theater. (Unfortunately, we forgot our good camera, so this was taken on a phone camera.)

(she's the one with her arms stretched out)
C is also quite the fashionista. She loves to dress up, pretend she's a princess or ballerina, and make up all kinds of fun stories. She and B now share a room. They have been waking up early to the frustration of their parents, but one day they stayed in their room playing and giggling. We looked at each other smiling that our kids are now playing happily by themselves without our intervention.
Then, B ran in our room and jumped on our bed dressed like this:
C had dressed him up and they were playing fairy princesses. What's worse, he was talking in a high pitched voice (like a princess) asking dad to put on his tutu (which he doesn't own!)
That's when A decided that a boy dressed as a fairy was far enough. So, she sewed him a cowboy vest. Now we have a cowboy and ballerina playing and life is right on track...
We are blessed with good kids and we love them so much. We're proud of our big C.

The fairy princess is awesome! What a perfect blackmail picture when he's a teenager! :-)
Mr B in a ballerina outfit ? What else has little Miss C put Mr B in ?
The picture of Master B dresed in the pink tutu is priceless. Little Miss C sure has an imagination beyond her years. Look at it this way, she didn't put lipstick or makeup on him like the little girl in the Trident chewing gum commercial. I can't believe how Little Miss C is growing up. All my love. Give all three of them big hugs and kisses from me.
Love these pics! Haven JUST put Dane in his first princess outfit a few days ago. And he loved it. And I laughed out loud, since he was still wearing his "touchdown!" football shirt on top of the sparkle skirt and high heels. So manly!!
Congrats to J on officially receiving his doctorate. We understand what a BIG deal that is. Hopefully we'll join you in Doctorate Land soon!
M is adorable. Miss you guys tons!
