Cute kids

Our In-house fashion consultant received a sewing machine for Christmas. Together our first project included beanbags. Now making a large jump forward, you may witness the first item of clothing sewn by ours truly. (In all honesty, when I helped her cut this out, it was very random and we first thought to have it be for a teddy bear or other baby doll. Once completed, I realized there was no way it was ever going to fit anything besides a Barbie, so, no I wasn't trying to sew a beach dress for Barbie, nevertheless it worked and she was thrilled!)
Little Miss M was the one who was originally wearing the shoes (anyone's and everyone's) around the house, and her older sister thought it would be fun to copy. My favorite part of this pic includes their matching smiles and facial expressions- wouldn't know they were sister would ya?

We've had seasonally warm weather all 'winter.' However, somehow the past 4 Saturday mornings have been cold, windy and even wet. I've got no problem with that, except that when Friday is 70-80 and sunny, perfect for 5 year olds playing soccer, followed by the really cold day of not so great little-kid-soccer weather and even worse 3-and-under-sibling-watching-soccer weather. The important thing is that she is loving it and making new friends while trying something new. We are proud of her for sure!
Mr. B loves to come to practices and games and tells me each time, "Mom, I'm ready for soccer," and yes, he is, but they just don't offer it for under 4 here. Instead, he climbs trees and smashes as many crackers as he can, and mooches Reese's Pieces from another little girl.
This beautiful babe goes and does as her older two siblings...riding her scooter, jumping on the couch, standing on the table to dance. She is such a feisty little girl too and knows what she wants to do, being 5 years old in her mind, and will let you know. I get comments all the time on how adorable she is with her head full of curls and ringlets, or pigtails.
A Saturday afternoon at home with Daddy-O. He worked long and hard for that goatee. He had tried many a time to grow one, and I thought I had him convinced it wasn't really ever going to happen...and then it did! We all liked it, but alas, it is gone again- now we know it can be done!

We are all beyond busy, but having a great time here in the South!

The kids are precious as ever. I can't believe how they've grown. Give them a big hug and kiss for me. Love to all.

So fun! I love the matching smiles. It's been a strange winter, hasn't it? It snowed only twice here in st. louis! And each time, it melted the next day - crazy. Take care and "enjoy" the last few weeks of winter!

Such great pics! Way to go on the Barbie dress...that's pretty amazing. And soccer is awesome. Neat for her to try something new and get out there and just do it!
