Santa Barbara

Well, here we are in Santa Barbara. We will be in the sunny state of California until August 14th.
Once we arrived, we had a week to play and explore downtown and the beach.

We are about two blocks from State street, where all the fun restaurants and stores are. We walk up and down State street everyday.



This is right at the edge of Stearn's Wharf looking back to the mainland. Check out the dolphin statue. Apparently, there are dolphins to be seen most days along this and other beaches.

We are now into the second week of Music Academy.
Jason is gone most of the day with rehearsals, practicing and hanging out with his new found trumpet buddies.

They go hiking...

...and try to find Oprah's $50 million home...

...I don't think this is really it, but you know!


When Jason is home, I try to pass off some fun Caitlin chores, which he always has a great time doing. What is not to love about this girl?!
