Spring Break Express

Thanks to a generous donor, we were lucky enough to take a few days trip to NYC this last week.

L-O-V-E is what we have in our family!

The last time we were there as a family was for our honeymoon. This time was a different kind of trip, and we were able to spend lots of time with different family members and friends.

We were actually staying on Staten Island most of the week, and enjoyed lots of relax time together.

On Wednesday we ventured into Manhattan, and despite the +1 hour drive by bus into the city (and back out) we all had a really good time. While there we met up with my sister who lives and works in Manhattan. We found a little Mexican restaurant that conveniently didn't have a high chair for C. This meant she wandered around in the corner we created for her! Good food!


Then we took a little walk to FAO Schwartz, the schnazy toy store so that we could feel like we provided something fun for our little one. She was excited to have space to run around and be able to touch things.

More than anythings we were grateful to be able to catch up with family and let them see our little gal in action.
