Have I told you lately...

...that I love you (dum dum duuummmm dummmmm (with a Rod Stewart voice)).

(Something I will not miss...100% juice does not exist, even when it is labeled as such! The kiddo still loves it, sugar and all!)

We are at T minus 2 weeks till we are home in the good ol' U.S. of A., and we are getting excited and making lists of things we want to do and enjoy when we are home.

This has been a great experience for all of us, but there have been a few days where we have missed luxuries of home, such as peanut butter and salad dressing. Ahhh. Yes they can be found, but take extra effort to find some that is imported from the US and isn't expired yet.

Food of course is a big part of life and can be a great comfort, but truly there are other more important things that we have really missed, like:

*Being able to call family members out of the blue, and almost always once a week; there is something wonderful about being able to hear familiar voices.

*Being in our own home, and having it feel that way. Having experience in living in sublet apartments for a few months out of the last few years, it is nice to have meaningful things surround you to remind you of life moments.

* Having familiar friends around. If we were here longer I'm sure those would develop, and two months has led us to the beginnings of what could develop into great friendships, but it's something that is easy to not realize the comfort that can bring.

There are lots of little things, much more trivial than the above listed items, but who really wants me to get all sentimental over a Pyrex dish!

Overall we are very spoiled and have been able to have a wonderful experience here.

I'm glad that your experience has been a great one in Chile. That is so cool that you guys were able to go down and live there for a bit! We'll love having you back in the ward though!

Wow..I can't believe you're already coming back so soon. Although, when you don't have those little comforts, it can seem like awhile! We're living in summer vicariously through you! We'll look forward to the next two weeks. :)
