Our Lovely Little C

As our little C quickly approaches 18 months, we wanted to give an update of her cuteness and the fun tricks that she can do. She sure is a smart, sweet, and very special girl who has made our lives so much better. We wonder how the time flies by so quickly? I guess we understand now...

Last night after C's bath with her spiky wet hair, she decided that she wanted to perform for the camera. So, the first is a video of C making a bunch of various animal noises. Some funny things to note are that her version of a cat meowing has always been crying to her, so when she sees a cat or we ask her to make a cat noise she fakes a cry. Also, she has learned to count to three before going down the slides at the park, however she can't exactly say each number, but you'll see how it goes...

The second video is of C watching the video above. Whenever she sees video of herself she tries to copy what she's doing. So, you can see that along with her actually saying, "Bye Bye," at the end.

Another new trick include speaking. She can now say: Daddy, Mommy, Thank you, Please, Help, Bye Bye, Go, Home, Uva (grapes), Agua (water), nana (banana), Yaya, Grandpa, Grandma, Amen, Jeeesh (Jesus), moo (milk), poo poo (that's obvious its meaning, however she now tells us right before she goes), coo coo (cookie), hop, kick, bubba (bubles), hat, book, and a few others she learns each day. Her first sentence was just pronounced the other day. It was, "Bye Bye Daddy!"

C also loves to read her books. Every time there is an animal in the book she makes it's sounds, pets it, and usually kisses the animal too. She loves to hop like a bunny and usually hops throughout the day. She likes to help us clean up and cook. She always wants to try and play J's trumpet. She doesn't really get the concept of blowing, so she just puts her mouth completely over the mouthpiece and slobbers. C likes to pray and sing hymns too, even through her attention span is about 15 seconds... She also loves to dance and swing to the music whenever she hears it. She loves bubbles, balloons, and drawing with her crayons. And more than anything she loves to hug, blow kisses, and show off for the many strangers we meet throughout the day.
