During the initial 2 month period the orchestra offered J a permanent position with the Orchestra. Although it was difficult (and to summarize and make a very long story short), we decided that we wouldn't be able to accept the position long term, despite the fact that it was actually something that J has been working for - a job! However, we arranged with the orchestra to return for the summer to play and earn some more money and experience. So, we leave Friday and return near the end of the summer. More adventure stories from the land on the bottom side of America to come...
Now, for the last few days:
Over Memorial Day Weekend, J's Dad came to visit us and spend time with C. We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed it. We visited a local petting farm.

This is a weird, 4 horned goat we thought was freaky, but then after seeing several it became normal...

Some of the fish swimming in the water at the beach. There were also plenty of dolphins and sting rays.

Enjoy the photos and we'll update from Santiago soon!
