Silly kid

So, in this latest installment of The Life of the Silly Kid, C demonstrates her first experiences in playing in rain puddles, dancing with sunglasses on, and splashing in the water at a local children's museum.

It has been threatening to rain heavy thunderstorms here, however most of them never seem to appear. One storm finally did roll through and C wanting to go outside and play in the puddles. Her first act was to sit right down in the water. Once she realized it was all wet and uncomfortable in the puddle, she got up and then wanted to splash and run through them.

That morning after she woke up, C wanted to put on her silly sunglasses and "dance." We think of it more as spinning in circles with the occasional clap. But she insists that it's "dancing."

For C's 1 year birthday in December, the trumpet studio got us a family membership pass to a local children's museum. This is a very fun and educational museum that we will enjoy going to year round. She enjoyed the water stations in the preschool exhibits. She got to wear a fun cover, splash a lot, and watch real fish swimming in an aquarium. I'm sure more posts in the future will be related to this museum.
