I bought all this for the equivalent of $3.50! $3.50, I said! And that is with the dollar in bad shape!
There is a store about 20-25 minutes from our place in the States where I can find similar prices, and greater variety. However, the bi-weekly, 'Feria,' or market where I bought this produce is located 5 blocks from our apartment in Chile! That means, no gas spent at all, and a few extra calories gone! Can't be beat.

I was just telling someone the other day how I missed the verdulerias on every other corner in Argentina. We'd pick up fresh fruits and vegetables every day on our way home for lunch. The quality, convenience, and PRICES were so much better.
That's awesome! Enjoy...I bet they taste a million times better than American fruit, too.
That is great that you can get such great deals there. I love Randazzos too but I rarely go because it is so out of the way. Good luck on your trip back!
That produce looks awesome! Have a safe journey home.
As Kashli would say "Not FAIR!"
