Do you know what they call a quarter pounder with cheese in France?

I have been in France since Friday and have been relishing that I am back in Europe again.  After a marathon day of running around Paris seeing what I could in just one afternoon, I am now in Pontlevoy (a little village outside of Tours, France, which is about an hour and a half southwest of Paris).  We are staying at an Abbey that was originally built in 1034 AD - it's approaching it's 1,000 year birthday.  There have been serious upgrades like electricity, running water, plumbing, and not to mention wireless internet (hence this blog post).

We are having a great time and I am enjoying it.  I am missing my sweet family at home and am really wishing they could be here.  Nelson (the Abbey dog) is very sweet and I know that C would love to play with him.  There are also MANY rose bushes throughout the town and they are in full bloom right now.  It's very beautiful.

Anyways, here are some pictures of the trip so far:

At the Arc de Triomphe
