When all you can do is....

This has been our survival week. After the little guy had been sick for over 2 weeks, we had a healthy day! All rejoiced- then Monday morning came, and the stomach bug reared it's ugly head and took out it's wrath on the babe.

Tuesday night it hit the babe again and the nina, and come Wednesday, I couldn't do much of anything until I was done with it by Thursday morning. Of course that meant that the poor little boy had to get sick a third time Thursday night. By Friday, the nina and I were cleaning furiously to make sure no one gets sick again! Let's cross our fingers!

J was lucky enough not to get the flu, but instead has self-diagnosed himself with bronchitis, and has been doped up on Night and Day Quil for almost a week.

All this sickness has made us more than stir crazy- especially the kidlets, and while I rested to recover, there was quite a bit less supervision going on....

Hence, the self-given make-over.
This actually happened two days in a row, and resulted in me throwing out over half the make-up containers I had due, to them being crushed or emptied on a body or carpet (not the new carpet you just bought Ya-ya!) I laughed at this incident (until I had to clean it up).

Other moments, I did not have the same clarity of mind, nor body, and had other reactions. This is probably why there are no photos to document. Thanks to wonderful neighbors who brought dinner and cookies!

To end on a happier note...

Cute kids!

After sampling sister's "special Valentine's day treat"- A gigantic Hershey kiss.
I put his shirt on inside out this morning, which means I put it away inside out- I'm just proud I got it washed and put away- He wore it this way all day long- what is the point is switching it anyway?
Her self-selected "special Valentine's Day treat" she purchased with exactly $3 sent to her for that purpose- Thanks Ya-Ya!

We did have a great visit with J's mom and grandma the weekend before for his big recital, but those photos are inaccessible right now- soon!

Have a Happy, Healthy Valentine's Day!

That would explain why I haven't heard from you guys.

Hope all of you will be well by the time you travel.

sorry to hear that the weejuns were under the weather. hope they're feeling better. give them an extra special hug from me. i just love the make up job, i guess i have to give her some tips on putting make up on. at least she didn't take scissors to her hair and cut it like leah did, when leah was younger and what a site that was. little b is precious as ever.
