Fun week update

Although we had already posted pics of little Jessie the cowgirl, there were requests to see the happy Trick-O-Treater in action. Early in the day I took the little cowgirl downtown where many businesses have their doors open to trick-o-treaters. She was quite overwhelmed by the whole experience, but upon arriving at the car to drive home, realized she had a whole bucket of loot to nibble on!

Thanks to the positively reinforcing experience she had in the day, by nighttime, she was sooo excited to run around and ask for more candy. Here are a few in-action shots!

Just a few days later, schools were out on election day, and we had a good friend offer to take us to the city zoo with her little girls. C loves the zoo, and we haven't been to a local zoo yet since we have lived here.

One of my favorite displays was of prairie dogs...normally not the most interesting animals to watch- however, when there are interactive tunnels that kids can climb into and pop their heads out like a prairie dog, all of the sudden it became a magical exhibit! Too funny!

Thanks for taking us with you!

That pic of the prairie dog exhibit made me laugh! What a great idea! Looks like a fun trick or treat! Blake did the same thing--once he realized that saying trick or treat got him candy, he couldn't stop saying it! Love ya!
