Now I just have to decide if I want to attempt to actually quilt it myself, or be done- thoughts? If I do it myself, I need to have it in the mail by the beginning of December. Should I even try?!
It's about 4' x 5'.

I say, go for it! Actually I wouldn't, but you can do it!
And by the way, I'm tagging you!! Check out my blog for more info.
PS the quilt looks great, way to go!
Cool quilt! I was so excited to hear that you have a blog. You should check ours out. It's fun to see what you're up to. I didn't know that you had a baby...they're so fun! Good to "see" you!
Don't quilt it!! Don't do it! lol We "hand-quilted" a blanket for Rachel and didn't get it finished until she was about a year old. ha that's probably just us though. I'm all for tying quilts instead.
And yes... In Provo doing the graduate thing (Computer Science) until sometime next year. We'll never get out of here. *sigh*
I totally support doing it yourself, but I will say that getting my Michigan done by Marylin Lange was super cool. She has this fancy quilting machine that does all these cute designs. She made my amateur quilting look professional... Not to say yours looks amateur--I'm really impressed at how great your flag turned out! Keep quilting!
Okay, I met your challenge. Thanks for the motivation.
