To be, or not to be...tagged

So, the time has come, and so I'm just going to cowgirl-up and do it!

I believe that this one requested 7 less-known things to be self-reported:

1. I still have streets, houses, or specific peoples faces from my mission, come to my mind, almost everyday, and at truly the most random times. I'm pretty sure I've come to accept that I'm no longer a missionary, but I wouldn't be surprised if this continues most of my life.

2. In my first 25 years of life, I don't think I ever sewed anything more than a button on to a shirt or skirt. And now, to my shock, (not to mention that of my mom and even more so my sisters,) in less than a year I've recovered a rocking chair cushion, sewed an apron, and pieced together the top of a quilt, and have plans to do more. Watch our Martha Stewart...I'm on fire!

3. Maybe, no, I should truly take back the warning to Martha...my home-organizational skills, not to mention my home decorating skills are close to zilch. In our home, and every apartment we have lived, I believe I have hung a total of maybe 5 pieces of artwork/pictures on the wall. I'm only counting the ones that I've placed, and have stayed there more than one day. This tells me that either I've married a control freak, or the way I decorate needs some serious help!

4. Our toothbrushes are kept in a drawer in the kitchen. Because of the randomness of each day, and the lack of great organizational skills regarding our days, I don't have a routine that I follow every morning. In fact, I hardly ever go upstairs, (where our bathroom is) in the first hour of the day. Therefore, we have discovered that we are more diligent about brushing our teeth if the toothbrushes are in the kitchen. This could mean a few things. We are too lazy to take the time to walk up stairs to brush, we are always in the kitchen , or toothbrushes were meant to be in the kitchen all along. You choose!

5. One of our favorite desserts is a box of chocolate, or the new, 'limited edition' Pumpkin Spice pudding, and adding about half a container or Cool Whip. Mmmm, mmmm, mmmm.

6. I'm one of the most prideful people you will ever meet. I'm not proud of it, and I'm trying to work on that, but it's taking me a while, and will more than likely continue to take a big chunk of time....like my whole life, sorry Jason!

7. I hate lima beans. So bland and blegh.

Alright...so I'm tagging Lindsey, Kera, Cassie ( I hope you are ready to launch your blog!), Susan, Janine, Nicole, and Melanie- or, if you are reading this, and you haven't been tagged in a while, you're it!

I still have random bursts of images and memories from Romania and it's been 5 years. It's weird how it pierces your heart and makes it hard to breathe sometimes.

PS....ew ew ew ew ew about the toothbrushes. When I read about where you keep your toothbrush, it made me want to vomit. really. that's beyond disgusting. I wouldn't want to admit that to anyone, let alone the who world on the internet. YUCK, lex, YUCK!
