Our little thief

So, although Caitlin is much too young to really understand right and wrong, especially without me telling her, "No!" we think we need to work harder on preventing her kleptomaniac tendencies!

Yesterday as we were heading out the door, Jason was having a difficult time getting her little shoes on, and asked me to assist in the effort. I had just put a piece of cinnamon bread in my mouth, and headed to the table to help out. Needing both hands, I decided to hold the bread with my teeth. Caitlin decided that it looked like something she would like to try, and tore off at least half of the slice, and preceded to shove it in her mouth as fast as she could, just as she does with all of her food.

She decided that she liked it at least as much as sweet potatoes, and therefore chose to work on storing it in her chipmunk-like stretchy cheeks!

Good stuff! Maybe I'll just make her cinnamon rolls for her first birthday, and not cake!

This picture tells it all. That's not the only thing that she'll take from you. It won't be long till she asks for money and the car keys (lol)

Love,
