Since the last post, so lovingly written by J, we have...drum roll please......:
*Forged a relationship that could lead to recording a professional CD
*Spent the day in LA with my former mission companion, Blanca Barcenas
*Flown halfway across the country with a perfectly behaved baby
*Flown to Nashville, with baby of course, for Cassie's wedding
*Reconnected with a whole clan of Peaches
*Seen college roomates for the first time in 2 years or more, along with children that have been born during those years
*Met someone 'famous', Frasier Albert, he is the president!
*Learned lots about raw food-ism
*Participated in shivary (if you want to know more, you might have to ask me)
*Gone to the temple with Beth
*Attended the sealing of Cassie and York
*Flown back to Michigan
*Unpacked and packed again
*Flown to Kansas City
*Gone swimming as a family
*Gone to the American Jazz Museum
*Eaten Arthur Bryant's famous BBQ
*Gone to two movies at the theater (not done for probably a year!)
*Gone on a date with my sweetie to Lawrence
*Ended up at a restaurant realizing the lack of a wallet (after finishing the meal)
*Gone miniature golfing with the whole family (Ya-Ya got two 'hole-in-ones')
*Flown home to Michigan for the last time all summer! Yeah!
So, that is the very brief update of what the last two weeks was like. Now back to normal life, huh.
