Mixed up Nursery Rhymes

Jason loves playing with Cailtin, and will do anything to make her smile and laugh. Little did he know that in his attempt to entertain an 8 month old, he would have me laughing even harder.

From time to time Jason tries to entertain with nursery rhymes. In fact he tried just the other night, but it came out like this...:

Three Blind Mice,
Three Blind Mice,
See how they run,
See how they run, (sounds pretty good up to now...just hold on...)
They all jumped over a candlestick
They all jumped over a candlestick,
Three Blind Mice,
Three Blind Mice.

("Where is that blasted candlestick? I can't find it!")

I just started laughing right out loud, which made him look at me and say, "What? Isn't that how it goes?"

I proceeded to tell him about Jack Be Nimble who was the candlestick jumper, and that the mice lost their tails to the farmer's wife, not by being singed!
