My baby!

You know, sometimes I think it's silly that parents get so excited about month 'birthdays', but then when my daughter's comes around, somehow, that silly excited feeling comes up and I feel some empathy towards those other first-time parents out there. The reason this comes up today is, of course, because my little girl is now 8 months old. 8 down, 100's to go!


(The hats we found at the house we were staying at...we don't actually have cowboy hats...yet!)


You know, except for the crazy new crying spell, (through hours of the night, and a few during the day,) she has been the easiest, most fun baby ever.

It amazes me the things that she has taught me, and the love that she has brought into our home and family. What a spectacular blessing for which I am, and will ever be, grateful.
